I am trying to setup Cyrus-imap to authenticate using pam_smb. I cannot find
any good documentation about this anywhere, although I know others are doing
this successfully.
I'm running redhat 7.3 with the latest cyrus-imap code.
I have pam_smb installed, and samba is running fine, and SSH and other
protocols are fine.
I have setup imapd.conf for:
sasl_pwcheck_method: pam
I keep getting the following when running imtest:
S: L01 NO Login failed: no mechanism available
Authentication failed. generic failure
Security strength factor: 0
Any suggestions on what I may be missing would be a big help
