we are running 2.1.16. Today it took me some time to find out what was going on when the following happened:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] imap]$ quota -f user.a3103129: Mailbox has an invalid format
Initially I naturally believed this message and tried to reconstruct the mailbox. Only after some lengthy experiments did I find the real cause:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] a3103129]$ ll /var/lib/imap/quota/B/user.a3103129
-rw------- 1 cyrus mail 8 Apr 22 14:47 /var/lib/imap/quota/B/user.a3103129
[EMAIL PROTECTED] a3103129]$ cat /var/lib/imap/quota/B/user.a3103129
3082446
[EMAIL PROTECTED] a3103129]$ mv /var/lib/imap/quota/B/user.a3103129 /tmp
[EMAIL PROTECTED] a3103129]$ quota -f
user.a3103129: quota root user.a3103129 --> (none)
So: it's not the mailbox that has an invalid format, it's the quota file ...
