Hello again (back to trouble ;-) After "fixing" the master segfault trouble (backing out SUN's patch) I'm back to where it all started: The whole of cyrus administration via the perl scripts doesn't work any more.
sieveshell reports: " connecting to localhost unable to connect to server at /usr/local/bin/sieveshell line 169.", accompanied by " Apr 5 01:58:11 alhambra perl[7152]: [ID 702911 auth.notice] Bad IPLOCALPORT value" in auth.log. cyradm reports " imclient_connect: unknown host "127.0.0.1" at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2/sun4-solaris/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 71." with no other log entry whatsoever. This is still Cyrus 2.2.3 with SASL 2.1.18 on Solaris 9, with most of the recent patches. Now this seems to be a long runner ... just in case we can't find a solution soon: Is there any way to administer (create user mailboxes, set perms etc.) without cyradm? (For sieve, I can use sievecc ...) Thanks for any hint (or even unreasonable reason for hope ...) kregards markus --- Home Page: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyruswiki.andrew.cmu.edu List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html
