My pleasure. I'm currently writing up a doc for install cyrus-imapd and postfix on FreeBSD. Once it is done, im going to put it up on my web page. :)
The only problems im having right now are a few 'odd' things more than anything else. For example, the 'trash can' not being created within the Mozilla client when the client first connects to the imap server. It apears to happen about 1/3 of the time. I'm still working on that one...i'll make more of a detailed list as I go on.
i will install salsdb2 and cyrus-imapd2 and uninstall salsdb and cyrus-imapd...
Definitely try the /usr/ports/mail/cyrus-imapd2 port. It is a more current version and should have better support and features for what you are looking for.
Yeah, auxprop is when you're using salsdb 2 with the cyrusimapd2... I'll install both...
Yep...exactly. One for IMAP, one for postfix.

Remind me on Monday to dig up a README I have and I will mail it to you. It will have a very detailed explanation of how to setup cyrus with postfix, the good and the bad.
I'm sure it will help... i'm going to try your planned setup next monday and let you know as soon as possible since it could help you too if you got some trouble...
