I'm struggling big-time with Postfix-Cyrus-Web-cyradm, I followed (as far as I know - blindly) the http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Postfix-Cyrus-Web-cyradm-HOWTO to make this work. Still I have big problems..
Now I can log in with cyradm and do a mailbox list, there's one 'user.a0001' as I set it up in web-cyradm. I can then use Outlook on my Windows box to check in with pop3, and of course there's no mail. But - If I try to SEND mail from that same account, Outlook isn't let in?? It keeps asking for password, and I've configured the pop3 account to use the same credentials to send mail as it use to poll. If I do a telnet to the linux box on port 25 and say 'ehlo test' it responds with: 220 mail.the-server.net ESMTP Postfix ehlo test 250-mail.the-server.net 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 10240000 250-VRFY 250-ETRN 250-AUTH CRAM-MD5 DIGEST-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN 250-AUTH=CRAM-MD5 DIGEST-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN 250 8BITMIME Is there something wrong there? Oh, if I do the web-cyradm test page, it tells me that PEAR isn't up2date, I got the package from http://www.horde.org/pear/ as the page pointed to, still same result.. You can see the page on http://www.the-server.net/web-cyradm/test.php I've also set up a test user if anybody can help me.. Just ask me for the details if you have the time and patience to take a look at it. Thanks a lot in advance!
