/usr/cyrus/bin/reconstruct /var/spool/imap/user/corner/Pumpkin/ was one command I ran on a directory with the cyrus.* files deleted. It seemed to do nothing. No cyrus.* files were generated. I just tried two directories experimentally to see if it would work.
