The master process is owned by user cyrus, group mail. The user cyrus has to have the permission to execute the file, imapd. Check to see if the file and its parent directories have the appropriate permissions.

Feb  1 09:29:28 mail master[264]: process 534 exited, status 71

Any help would be appreciated.
