I would have to agree with you in that it is the client side not the server since this is the only user having this problem. At one of my previous jobs we used to have this problem on a regular basis. The "fix" we used was to remove the user's IMAP folder from their machine. Be careful not to remove any filters they have. After the folder was removed it would force netscape to rebuild it (I'm assuming the user is IMAP user). Just make sure netscape is closed before you try this. Another possibility is a hung process. This is easily checked for by closing netscape and looking for a netscape process still running on the user's machine. If it's there, KILL it.
