I also get bitten by this problem (on Cyrus 2.1.3.)  What is the
rationale for Cyrus deliver to put in this header?

I could imagine that once a mail gets through Sieve (via LMTP which
perhaps may be interpreted as equivalent to SMTP for the purposes of
RFC 2821) bounced mail (to Return-path) should go to the Cyrus
administrator!? If this is the reason, it would be nice if Cyrus could
be configured to let the MTA handle the Return-path.
