I am trying to move from UM-Imap to Cyrus-Imapd, in order to to so:
- I build a set a script to move all mailbox and folders automatically to Cyrus Imap Sloop Tree [see http://fridu.homelinux.net/Linux/bsd-2-cyrus ]
- I changed Netscape-6.2 preferences in order Sent folder to be under Inbox
- Netscape lock in waiting answer from imapd on some folder, but it works on some others !!!
- KMail works perfectly, even if it notive that an imapd connection lost from time to time.
- Note: Kmail is 5 time faster than Netscape[Normal ?]
Question
- I thing my folder transfer went well, /usr/cyrus/bin/reconstruct -f does not complain, is there any other checking command ?
- How could I increase DEBUG level to check what is happening ?
- I suspect imapd daemon to did, or enter in a loop, I notice sometime imapd using 98% of the CPU
- I have the impression that download of mail header is OK, but open of
first mail to get the body fail.
- Suse 7.3 with latest update including kernel, file system is ReiserFs, Disk is UW SCSI, Box is an Old P-Pro-180 with 256MB Ram.
- This is my personal box, I have only five persons using it, but I want to prove it works before, moving a secondary school mail server [~150users] on Cyrus + Postfix.
