no .seen .sub files created

Hello,   I build up an imap server using cyrus-imapd-2.1.3 and cyrus-sasl-2.1.1. The problem occured after I had startet the server and created a mailbox. The server didn't created a .seen and .sub file in the /var/imap/user/* directory. By the way, in my opinion the server looks for the two files in the wrong directory. I can create a folder in my mailbox but i don't see them.
