You did not supply your SASL package/version installed. Read manuals, FAQs, mailinglists and STFW: SASL is responsible for any authentication issues concerning cyrus-imapd. Its usage of cyrus-imapd is configured in /etc/imapd.conf. If you want further help here: post your /etc/imapd.conf and you PAM configura- tion if you use PAM with SASL. Birger
