Maybe. But thats not the point where I call a fix "silent". When you look at a piece of software you put into production use (and you have many of those) you do not want to be on every list and you do not want to search the web all the time for whispers of change. You want to look at the CHANGES or ChangeLog files whenever new versions of the software are released. If something in the ChangeLog meets your eye, you may decide for installing the new version. I called the fix silent be- cause you can only find it when you look deeply into the source. Regards, - Birger
