Having just installed an otherwise apparantly fine version of Cyrus 1.5.19, i see lots of the following in /var/log/messages:
Nov 21 14:36:39 imap deliver[23677]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-a.lock: No such file or directory Nov 21 14:36:39 imap deliver[23677]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-a.lock: No such file or directory Nov 21 14:36:46 imap deliver[23680]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-d.lock: No such file or directory Nov 21 14:36:46 imap deliver[23680]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-d.lock: No such file or directory Nov 21 16:07:37 imap deliver[23834]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-g.lock: No such file or directory Nov 21 16:07:38 imap deliver[23834]: Unable to open lock file: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-g.lock: No such file or directory now the odd thing is those letter suffixes: deliver-a.lock, deliver- g.lock i'm guessing that this is based on the account name, but its something i've not seen on other cyrus servers...what do i need to do to fix this? doesn't seem to be impacting performance, but it makes me nervous ;-) thx
