Cyrus maintains its own mail store under spool.  Typically this is 
/var/spool/imap, but may be different on your system depending on how 
you have configured Cyrus.  In order for Cyrus imap to work, you need to 
migrate all of your existing emails out of the spool/mail directory and 
into cyrus.  This can be done with one of a number of perl scripts 
mentioned periodically on this list, in fact there have been emails in 
the last 24 hours on this topic.  Going forward, you must configure 
sendmail to deliver all mail directly to cyrus using the deliver script 
provided with Cyrus.

Once you have migrated your existing email to Cyrus, Qpopper will not 
longer be usable.  However, Cyrus does provide its own pop3 server that 
you can use.
