I'm not going to make any recommendations, other than to say that I have
been running the current CVS of IMAP 2.1 and SASL 1.5 for weeks/months
on my production server without any problems (other than those caused by
myself while coding).

I can't speak for Rob, but I don't think Cyrus IMAP + SASL v2 is ready
for primetime just yet.

Yes.  A beta release will be coming sooner rather than later.

Nothing *really* serious.  2.1 contains mostly new features and

Not to my knowledge.  SASL v2 improves on the API and memory management
of v1.5.
