That's great! Suggestion: since Postfix can do lmtp, and since Cyrus'
deliver is just a wrapper around lmtp these days, perhaps you could
just leave instructions to use the lmtp transport instead of the custom
Cyrus one. I never got Postfix's cyrus transport working, but lmtp was
a piece of cake. Postfix's cyrus transport is probably redundant these
days.
