message delivery problems

hello, everybody.  :)

we have an account that is unable to receive mail, here's the relevant
syslog entry:

Aug 24 11:12:02 indian lmtpd[7796]: IOERROR: user.qmchen zero index record
24/70
(repeated and repeated)

i reconstructed his mailbox, and that didn't help.  i'm at a loss.

any ideas on what i need to do?

oh yeah, here's some info

os:             rh6.2 (2.2.16 kernel)
cyrus imapd:    2.0.16
sasl:           1.5.24
sendmail:       8.11.0

i think that's all you might need.
