Yes, i have a running configuration and have also encountered the
problems with pam_ldap which you described.
You did not mention which version of ldap libraries you used when
compiling pam_ldap, but i suppose that you used libraries from openldap
2.x. When i used the libraries from the netscape LDAP-SDK or openldap
1.x for compiling pam_ldap the "signal-11 problem" disappeared.
Running config:
cyrus-imapd-2.0.15
cyrus-sasl-1.5.24
Berkeley DB 3.2.9
openldap 2.0.11
pam_ldap-105 linked against Netscape LDAP-SDK 4.1 libraries
