I'd like to announce the alpha release of Cyrus SASL 2.0.0 on
ftp.andrew.cmu.edu.
This is the first release implementing the SASLv2 API. This API allows
for many improvements in memory management, support for additional plugin
types, simplified database support, and improved error reporting.
This release is intended only to show developers that use the Cyrus SASL
library what direction we are planning on taking the library so that they
can make plans to migrate their applications accordingly.
