I have just found some your posting of April 2001 asking for PAM pwcheck, so
first I tried to find it in the Cyrus ftp server.
I found some code of PAM pwcheck in some posting of 1998.
A couple are patches for cyrus-imapd 1.5.14 (and I want to use it on cyrus
2.0.14... perhaps I have to downgrade my installation).
The other 2 messages contain code that I tried to compile without success.
Now I try with saslauthd. Hope to have better luck

Check the archives of this mailing list. There have been a couple
of pwcheck_pam.c files posted. They allow pwcheck to check passwords
via PAM, instead of local files.
