I've compiled cyrus imap 1.6.24 on Solaris 8 with next parameters:
--with-auth=unix --enable-netscapehack
whith sasl 1.5.24 compiled whit next parameters:
--with-pwcheck --enable-cram --enable-digest
I start pwcheck and performs the test with this result:
# imtest -m login -p imap localhost

^^ shell prompt, not imapd prompt. It exits.
Why it fails? It seems to authenticate, but then stop. What is the
select: Invalid argument
failure: select
errors? Which select is referenced?
I'm, a bit lost...
