hi to all,
i'm install sendmail 8.11.0 and imap 2.0.14 on suse 7.0.
it work's ok after i recompile cyradm. to start imap i
put it in /sbin/init.d/ ... S20 ... and imap is start
well at boot time, but i can't log in. the error from
netscape and mulberry is :login failed !! authentication failure !
did i manual restart imap: kill -9 master and .../master &
then imap works great! how can i start imap well ???
imapd.conf:
sasl_pwcheck_method: shadow
imap configure:
./configure --with-cyrus-user=cyrus \
--with-cyrus-group=mail \
--with-cyrus-prefix=/usr/cyrus \
--with-dbdir=/usr/local/bd3.x \
--with-auth=unix --without-notify \
--without-krb --enable-netscapehack --enable-sieve
sasl configure:
./configure --with-pwcheck_method=shadow \
--enable-plain --disable-cram \
--disable-krb4 --disable-digest
