Hi,
I have just installed Cyrus (1.6.19 from Compaq Open Source Internet
Solutions V5.4) on an Alphaserver with Tru64 UNIX 5.1
My first tests are OK with logins with at least one letter character.
But Login Authentication of all-numeric users are rejected with logs
similars to the following:
May 23 14:26:06 baligan1 imapd[639332]: badlogin:
castillon.msh.unicaen.fr[193.5
5.125.4] plain authentication failure
May 23 14:26:06 baligan1 imapd[639332]: badlogin:
castillon.msh.unicaen.fr[193.5
5.125.4] plain bad userid authenticated
May 23 14:26:09 baligan1 imapd[639332]: badlogin:
castillon.msh.unicaen.fr[193.5
5.125.4] plaintext 1234 invalid user
Precision: The /etc/passord is OK, and the mailbox creation of "1234" by
cyradm was OK too.
