Hi! I've set up Cyrus (2.0.12) within a HA Environment. The replication is made via a rsync script. I noticed that if in the /var/imap/proc remains some files (I think they are lock files) no authentication is possible (I use PAM) on the second server if the hot goes down. So the sycronization script deletes all files in /var/imap/proc and when the second server goes up all seem to work flawlessly. Are there some risks I don't know while doing this way?
