I know this has come up before, but is the Cyrus policy for reliability
still to have the synchronous bit set on a Linux ext2 file system? How
damaging could it be if you elect not to use this method (for
performance issues?)
>>chattr +S . user quota user/* quota/*
>>chattr +S /var/spool/imap
>>chattr +S /var/spool/mqueue
