IP addresses are getting more and more scarce and difficult to get.
A solution that does not require a separate IP address per domain name
will be more suitable.

It is also getting more difficult to get IP address assigned by
authorities without providing a very good reason.

So for a company that is doing "virtual domain" hosting of mail and web
etc it is not very practicle to use multiple ip addresses.

Maybe infuture we will have http 1.1 style host headers for IMAP/POP/FTP
etc to solve this issue when IP addresses are not left :)

just my 01 cents.
