Hi all, While testing the installation of the Cyrus IMAPD I tried followind commands from "Linux Cyrus IMAPD How to", I have successfully compiled and installed the Cyrys IMAP server on Linux RedHat 7.0 ************************ "/usr/local/sbin/saslpasswd cyrus" asks for password two times but at the end gives the error like this [cyrus@development sbin]$ ./saslpasswd -c cyrus Password: Again (for verification): saslpasswd: generic failure I am sure that while installing I created a user named 'cyrus' with password cyrus. So when I try to login using that user with the following command it gives the following error command> imtest -m login -p imap localhost C: C01 CAPABILITY S: * OK development.kenets.net Cyrus IMAP4 v1.6.24 server ready S: * CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 ACL QUOTA LITERAL+ NAMESPACE UIDPLUS X-NON-HIERARCHICAL-RENAME NO_ATOMIC_RENAME UNSELECT ID S: C01 OK Completed Password: + go ahead L01 NO Login failed: generic failure Authenticated.
