Hi All

I'm pretty happy with my slow progress with Cyrus-IMAP, Postfix, and
fetchamil.

I'm using SASLDB for authentication. This works fine, and users can
connect fine to their Inbox from machines on the LAN. Users can also
create folders which are subfolders of Inbox, but NOT subfolders of
mail.servername. I usually like to have the ability to have top level
folders to archive emails, collect mailing list material, etc. It would
seem logical to me that these should not be connected to the Inbox. Is
there
any way to allow this?

Also, are there many of you out there running a pretty simple server
setup using Cyrus-IMAP with perhaps Postfix and Fetchmail? If so I'd
love to hear from you, and would quite like to set up a side-group
somewhere so we can nut through issues specific to this kind of setup.
My situation for example is the aforementioned software running on a
general purpose server sitting between a small LAN (less than 20 users)
and an ADSL connection to the Internet.

Best regards, and thanks,
Paul Dorman.
