There was no such entry in my man imapd.conf... I went looking for the entry
on the web, and found a manual page for a v.2 Cyrus server that DID list the
entry. It's name is 'AllowPlainText=yes'. I must say that the use of
imapd.conf is not clear to me... I've change the sasl_pwcheck_method to PAM
and pam but I can still get in with a user that is ONLY known in the sasldb.
This shouldn't work right?

I guess testing PAM isn't much use as long as it's not being used...

Is there a good way to check how it was compiled?
