   Shouldn't the RSET command wipe out any error state with the Cyrus
   LMTP server?  Based on the above I'd gather it doesn't.
   Unfortunately, this kinda blows connection caching because when
   things fall into this state, any subsequent delivery attempts via
   this LMTP connection will fail.

Based on the error message (Syntax error) it appears that the two are
out of sync relative to lexing---ie, the lmtp server isn't even
noticing that the command "RSET" is being sent because it's seeing
something else.

I'm not sure what would be causing this; I'm pretty sure I've never
seen it on any of my lmtp servers.
