I'm running 1.6.24 on a machine with RedHat 6.2. I routinely see the problem of messages being deferred because they timeout on their way into users' mailboxes. deliver is running via lmtp to allow vacation to work. Is this a known problem? Is there a cure? ian [igb@new-elo-relay igb]$ /usr/lib/sendmail -bp /var/spool/mqueue (7 requests) ----Q-ID---- --Size-- -----Q-Time----- ------------Sender/Recipient------------ f2TDOtx16640* 253768 Thu Mar 29 14:24 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 8BITMIME <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> f2SEH7x09929* 610640 Wed Mar 28 15:17 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 8BITMIME <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> f2TFgvx17839* 65736 Thu Mar 29 16:42 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (timeout writing message to cyrus) mpires f2TDYa016721* 169814 Thu Mar 29 15:14 MAILER-DAEMON (timeout writing message to cyrus) razenha f2TCYZ016265* 169147 Thu Mar 29 14:09 MAILER-DAEMON (timeout writing message to cyrus) razenha f2TA87x14861* 167497 Thu Mar 29 11:08 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 8BITMIME (timeout writing message to cyrus) jfazenda f2T8dZx14102* 166834 Thu Mar 29 09:39 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 8BITMIME (timeout writing message to cyrus) jfazenda [igb@new-elo-relay igb]$
