FYI  I needed to change one line though

orig>           test -L /usr/lib/sasl || ln -s /usr/local/lib/sasl /usr/local/lib
changed>        test -L /usr/lib/sasl || ln -s /usr/local/lib/sasl /usr/lib/sasl

I am pretty green at this stuff though but I think this is correct.
