LDAP access via IMSP does not appear to be working at all. I the
version of the imsp server is cyrus-imspd-v1.6a3. The LDAP server is
the iPlanet server, and the host operating system is Solaris 2.7. I
ran configure with "--with-ldap=ldapssl30" set and imspd built without
any errors.

This is the configuration in /var/imsp/options

imsp.ldap.searchbase N o=linfield.edu
imsp.ldap.scope N subtree
imsp.ldap.host N ldap.linfield.edu
imsp.ldap.port N 389
imsp.ldap.fullnameattr N cn
imsp.ldap.uniqueattr N linfieldid
imsp.ldap.defaultfilter N "(mail=*)"
imsp.ldap.attrmap N (name cn alias uid email mail)

I brought the server up and logged in via imtest and successfully
created the addressbook and turned on the LDAP feature as follows:

A0 CREATEADDRESSBOOK Linfield_College
A0 OK createaddressbook completed
A1 SETACL ADDRESSBOOK Linfield_College anyone lr01
A1 OK setacl completed

Then I do a search:

A2 SEARCHADDRESS Linfield_College name "*tanner"
A2 OK searchaddress completed

I get an OK but no results. I go to the LDAP server access log and
find no record of an access.

I have setup the previous release (a2) of the imsp server on a linux
box without any real problems, so I'm really baffled. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob
