urgent help needed

HI 
i was installing cyrus imapd on tru64 unix  it stopped indicationg the
problem with the compiler  with great difficulty i managed to install
gcc-2.95.2  now it seems that my gcc tru64 , syrus imapd and ipv6 have
compatibility problem can anybody tell me how can i disable ipv6 support
with  configure  command or whatever the options are
