I'm working on adding the managesieve (installsieve) support to Mulberry.
Right now we generate scripts but they're saved as a local file and the
user has to ftp to the sieve server - not ideal but the sieve support is
still 'alpha'. I would like to see a standard protocol that all clients
could use. This would act as a 'wrapper' for whatever storage mechanism a
particular implemenation may want to use on the back-end, e.g. file system,
ACAP, IMSP, LDAP etc, but would provide sieve clients with a single
upload/download API to use. Currently there doesn't seem to be a lot of
interest in doing this - but you might want to propose it again on the
sieve list.
