I have cyrus-sasl 1.5.24 - cyrus-imap 1.6.24
Just some questions :
* is cyrus using /etc/imapd.conf
* To use pam,ldap,or another solution, is-it :
- pwcheck_method: PAM
- sasl_passwd_method: PAM
* To configure sasl and imap to use pam : what-is the good option ?
./configure --xxx
There is here tow a lot of solution with pam (--with-pwcheck,--with-login...).
* If I want to use ldap directly :
- does:
sasl_passwd_method: ldap // should be good ?
ldap_basedn: ou=People,dc=test
* How can I diagnostiq the problem :
- Pam-ldap run : I can have a shell with just a ldap user via rlogin
(/etc/pam.d/rlogin.
- Cyrus run : tests with imtest,cyradm are good :
BUT Cyrus, Continue to use sasldb !! Even if I change my /etc/imapd.conf
And I want use my LDAP accounts. (via pamldap or ldap directly).
