Thanks for the input with the Berkeley problem,
Pretty much the rest of the install seemed to go okay, but when trying to
use the cyradm I have perl errors. Lets see if any of you ran into this:
>cyradm -u cyrus ms1.usishealth
Please enter your password: (entered, then I get)
IMAP password: (at which point I enter the same password, there is no echo
on the screen, but I did notice when I hit enter it backspaces once which I
thought was odd)
IMAP password:Login Failed: authentication failure at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 78
cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with as cyrus
(no that isn't a typo it does say "to server with as cyrus" with two spaces
after with)
I am using cyrus-imapd-2.0.11 and Perl 5.6.0 on Red Hat 7.0. The Perl is RPM
installed from the distrobution. I let authentication be passwd, but would
like to use PAM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. In all the time as a user no other
issue has haunted me as much as this insane Cyrus-Imap install.
