hello! configuration: suse 7.0 (more or less) cyrus-imapd 2.0.9 sendmail 8.11.0 pam authentication since two month i'm using cyrus-imapd (before 2.0.9 i used 2.0.7) without problems. now i would like to add a mail virus scanner (amavis-perl-10). i replaced the "/usr/cyrus/bin/deliver ..." within the cyrus mailer definition with "/usr/sbin/amavis $f $u /usr/cyrus/bin deliver ...". now deliver also works, but there are still mails in the sendmail-queue and they getting more and more, although the mail is delivered correctly, even the viruswarnings. they all have status "deferred". when i try to connect with sendmail from the command line, i alwys get the follwing messages: /usr/lib/sendmail -v < testmessage foo...connecting to cyrus. foo...Deferred. when i change things back, it's working again without problems. is this maybe a problem with rights?? can someone give me tips or tell me how to debug this?? thanks for any help in advance. greetings, manfred.
