Hi,

I'm trying to configure my MTA (sendmail 8.11.1) to use the Cyrus delivery
agent (I'm using 1.6.24). When I try to send a message with sendmail the
mail is queued and will only be delivered once sendmail is restarted. The
following is logged by sendmail:

Jan  2 16:59:31 postie sendmail[17414]: f02GxV717414: from=debug, size=5,
class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
relay=debug@localhost
Jan  2 16:59:31 postie sendmail[17415]: f02GxV717414: SYSERR(debug): Cannot
exec /usr/imap/bin/deliver: Permission denied
Jan  2 16:59:31 postie sendmail[17414]: f02GxV717414: to=debug,
ctladdr=debug (999/500), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=cyrus,
pri=30005, dsn=4.0.0, stat=Operating system error

If I change the permissions on 'deliver' to 755 the mail is deferred and
again won't
be delivered until I restart sendmail.

My server is running Redhat 6.2 (kernel 2.2.15). Any ideas as I'm a little
stumped?

Cheers,

Alex.
