Hello,

I am a bit lost with the new Cyradm tool (written in Perl). Cyrus 2.0.6

I want to create a TCL script to create Cyrus users (for some reasons).

My problem is that:

1) if I use the new Cyradm tool:
================================
I am not able (or I do think so) to create users automatically from a script
because while invoking cyradm, it asks me for my password and it seems not
able to read it from stdin! How to deal with this? Any sample script?

2) If I want to use the old Cyradm tool:
========================================
As I am not yet a Linux-compiler guru, I am a bit lost on how to compile the
old TCL Cyradm tool from the distribution. Several attempts did not succeed.
Any help would be appreciated if you think this option is a good one. This
way, I would be able to indicated in my script my authentication mechanism
and password.

OOT : Are you aware that running Cyrus 2.0.6 RPM from RedHat 7 (power tools)
make Cyradm dead? you need to put in comment to patch number 3 in the RPM
conf file. I saw a message about this on the comp.mail.imap group. Is this
logical?

Thank you. Cheers,

                                Sacha
