I seem to recall that the Renegade project was created specifically for the reason that the official developers of CVS were unwilling to work with Noel and others who needed various bug fixes and features. At that time, (a couple of years ago) the official developers were unresponsive to the point of even failing to acknowledge receipt of bug reports initiated by send-pr. Should your statement be interpreted to mean that the official developers are now more receptive to such "market-driven" forces? --- Forwarded mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] No, it hasn't been checked in. And as long as Noel persists in working in his own little world on SourceForge instead of working with the official source and developers, it's likely to stay that way. I don't think any of the CVS developers have either the time or the inclination to try to figure out what all he's changed and how many of those changes make sense to put into the official version, merge the changes with the current version, make up test cases to ensure they work right now and in the future, and update the documentation to match. --- End of forwarded message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
