Well, that's what both alias addresses and addresses tied to a identity are used for. When you reply to an email that was sent to an address listed in an identity (either as the default address or as alias address or as tied-to address), this identity will be chosen by default. When the address is listed in the identity as an alias, it will also be removed from the list of recipients when replying to all. Of course you can always override this by choosing a different identity from the drop-down box in the "From" field (available only if you have configured more than one identity).
