We've had several, but isolated, problems of users being able to check mail with Outlook.

They can send no problem, but one plain text message, and Outlook just hangs and ultimately times out.

We've seen it with a dozen users on various virtual domains. All using Outlook but no other pattern. Other users in the domain are able to receive & send just fine. Oddly, the sending process works OK,
it is just checking that hangs up.

We've tried deleting their mail boxes and recreating, deleting the files in the folder, etc. I am not convinced
it is on our side.

Are there issues going on now with Outlook (or potentially Vista / XP) that anyone has seen that would cause this?
