I ran a reinstall of IMAIL and it reset all the permission. So I don't think
that is it.

Maybe I should clarify.

All of this is happening with the exact same Imail userid/account:

My computer POP3 works find.

My existing BlackJack email can't connect.

If I define a new Pop3 email on the phone (with the same IMAIL account) and
it works just fine.

My guess would be something is wrong with the registry permissions. My
guess is the POP3 service and other services don't have the required
permissions they need to the registry hive that contains Imail. When you
create a new user, it creates the key with the proper permissions.
Double-check those between the old and new servers.

Travis

Subject: [IMail Forum] Email move... Problems with PDA email

I moved my Imail 10.01 server on Sunday to a new server.

I kept the same IP addresses.

Computers can POP/SMTP/IMAP/webmail fine.

Some PDA / cellphones like the BlackJack II will not connect and get the
email.

I had to make a new account on the PDA and email worked fine then. But
pre-existing accounts are dead.

Any ideas anyone?
