In case you haven't figured this out on your own already, on the same server, you can have IIS listen on a different port and configure Imail 8.22 to "send all remote mail through gateway" after 0 tries to 127.0.0.1:225 or whatever port you set IIS to listen on. You should not make this port available to the Internet. If you are having server overload issues, you can even run IIS on a different server in your network and use it strictly for smtp delivery.
