This is a request that the patent-encumbered standard for TLS authorization involving a patent claimed by RedPhone Security not be approved unless the patent threat is entirely removed with a royalty-free license for all users.
A patent encumbered standard for TLS authorization would put another barrier in the way software users and programmers. We depend on the IETF to prevent this from happening.
