Hello College Sailors,
This summer ICSA will be participating in the British University Sailing Association tour of the UK from mid-July through early August. The actual dates are being confirmed. The BUSA - ICSA tour is a bi-annual event dating from the 1960's. The host country alternates each time the tour takes place. The tour team will consist of an all-star squad of 6-8 sailors that will be co-skippers for a series of five team-race and match-race regattas throughout the UK. There may also be an opportunity to participate in Cowes Week. The ICSA, with the support from the US Sailing Foundation, provides funding for budgeted travel expenses for the tour. Additional personal expenses can be expected. Any ICSA sailor, male or female, who currently meets the ICSA eligibility requirements, may apply by emailing a current college sailing résumé to BUSA Team Leader and Coach, Tim King ([email protected]) or to me [email protected]. The summer is quickly approaching, so send in your résumés, as soon as possible. Selections will be made by the end of March.
