Hey everyone,

So Rowan and I have been working on the Shilshole Regatta, and I have checked with the CYC and there is another big regatta going on there so it will be really hard to get ours there too. So this regatta is not going to happen as we had hoped. What I think that we should do instead is hold practices that people can come to ( let me elaborate a bit).

I think that schools should arrange with one another to team up and practice. This will accomplish alot for your team, you will get practice with people you usually dont sail with and you can work on things that your team feels it is lacking. Teaming up with schools who are close to your same level might help too, so you are all working on similar things.

This is sort of like a scrimmage series between schools but more like a practice in that its not just racing, its working together. I think that the more of these we can do the better the district will become and we can all grow together, not just as individual schools,

Dont take the weekend off just because there is no regatta, call up another school and get some quality practice in together.

Thanks

Felipe
