REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: This morning the sailors were greeted with sunny skies and warm
temperatures, but
very little wind. We postponed ashore until 11:30 when the seabreeze started to
fill in from
the SSE. The first few races were sailed in 5-8 knots from the SSE with a very
weak flood
current. The breeze increased to 10-15 and shifted right to SSW, flood current
increased. We
completed 8A and 6B races for the day, all courses were W4 or W5 with downwind
gates. One
protest was filed and will be heard tomorrow.
SailGroove was out filming all day - check out some of the footage at
www.sailgroove.org.
